microsoft stole the idea of a mouse from apple… its true look it up …apple created the first mouse… at first microsoft was run with a keyboard only… then apple comes out with the mouse and suddenly microsoft has invented a new external navigating device… what a shock
@fiendtiger73 – I don’t know about that, but I do know that Apple had a mouse with just one button (thus also just one function) instead of the two/three-button-mouse. They insisted that having more than one button on a mouse would be confusing. Later on they adapted to the more sensible design, as used by pc’s. Or, wait, I mean – stole Bill Gates’ idea. Right?
Point is – this debate is retarded. No one cares about any of this, except for these Apple-fanboys who seem to have their identity and sence of self lodged somewhere between iTunes and Steve Jobs’ ass. The rest of us just goes with whatever platform fits them best – be it Mac OS X or Windows.

@Gruwel Microsoft may have added a few buttons to the mouse but apple still created it and patented in Microsoft just added the buttons to get around the patent

Every version of Windows has a search feature, Vista just made a bar for it to be more obvious. You can get a sidebar for most all Operating Systems, there’s chess on just about very OS and the Internet, all of these are common. This debate is just to give some poor idiot out there something to whine about.
@fiendtiger73 – You don’t get it. It’s not about who was first with what and whether that’s stealing. It’s about developing new technologies and picking out what works best. For example, Apple uses Intel CPU’s. So do a lot of pc’s (usually, it’s either Intel or AMD). Apple started doing business with Intel in 2005, way after Intel CPU’s were used in pc’s. Does that mean that Apple stole Windows’ idea? No. It just means that Intel makes some fine CPU’s.
