   Wow. There are a lot of real dummies out there. First off, diesel is far superior to gas,Gas is faster than diesel, and there is no north american gas motor that can compare to the vw tdi. And if you are ignorant inbred southern trash, then fuck your trans-am and talk to someone who owns a cummins, powerstroke, or even a duramax. they will all say diesel is better. Oh yea, if you want to swap your 2.0 with a VR, make sure that the body is amazing, cause other wise, there is no point. Start over

    Wow, you call them dumb, but then you classify everyone together? Grow up. I own a 98 WS6 Trans Am, but I also love TDI engines, they’re totally different classes, so why are you grouping them together?

    My VP 10hp with a gt17 has 160cv
    We have a Seat Leon PD 150hp, with 300hp
    Americans still far in the processing for diesel cars
    Diesel is for Europe, gasoline is for america

    well diesel in america is used for huge ass trucks.. so europe has its nice diesel cars, and america has its nice big diesel trucks, i myself am an american with an 04 jetta tdi very nice mileage

    I read somewhere a 200hp diesel is the equivalent to a +300hp car.

    ? a diesel will make tons of torque, but 200 hp is 200 hp, I am sure if the other car was identical to the diesel jetta, just with a gas engine, it would be alot closer, the TDI might have a snappier “throttle response” because of its greater torque though. But the TDI will always be more efficient because of its ablility to handle drastic A/F ratio changes (lean idle) thats the main advantage of a diesel over gas.

    300hp for petrol car ??? you wrong with a 2.0 4 cyl diesel you can have the torque of a gasoline v8 for sure but not the power , power stays power
