This is going to permenantly fix your red ring of death, all you need is a T9 screwdriver, electrical tape, silicone base thermal paste, and 4 sets of 2 pennies (8 all together if your not good at math). hi i have a problem i used thermel paste but the pennys dont sty there they always falling down. what should i do?
you put too much of it on your cpu’s. only add enough to create a vaccuum between teh pennies and the core otehrwise it slips.

it’s not VRAM. its the 4 seperate cells of teh processor. why they are how they ae is a mystery to me also.

Actually the 360 was trying to stay above ps2. They didn’t know how advanced ps3 was going to be so they still copied many of the things ps2 had, like memory card slots even tho the 360 had a HDD they still had memory card slots, also, with the 360, they didn’t know sony was going to bring out wireless controllers and as soon as they did xbox hurried as fast as they could to copy them, not only did the controllers fail but you had to have an actual censor device connected to the xbox.
Lets not forget, over 50% of all xbox consoles, get the red ring of death, Sony consoles are 100% reliable, I’ve spilt water inside my ps3 and I waited a few days to let it dry out and turned it on, it worked fine, unlike xbox, it just fucks up without even damaging it
games are better on 360 dude. not many M rated games for PS3.
what is the problem if you have done this and your xbox runs with 3 rings then sounds like an airplane taking off and just shuts off while having two rings
i think you need to look at the facts.. over 50 percent of xboxs get the rrod.. microsoft never updated their statistics about this since the very first year.. they said that it is less than 5% of xboxs that get the rrod.. there solution was to push the warranty to 3 years.. i think microsoft should have took their time and created a great console and trust that people would stay with xbox

check and see what your av cables are set to. if you have an hd tv, set it to “hdmi”. if you have a regular tv, make sure the switch is on “tv”
my xbox had the same problem. i bought an intercooler and it works fine now.
thanks a lot for this vid. i used it and fixed my 360. runs great now. it used to freeze while palying games eventually freezing every time i played a game witin a couple minutes. after this method it works better than before. i never reached rrod stage though but similar problem i think. going to try to fix my friends rrod problem with this trick. hopefully it works.
Does this only work with three Red Rings? Mine has only one red ring.

first off your an idiot for having any liquid near an electronic device. secondly it’s not microsoft’s fault that they didn’t incorporate the gametime usage. guarunteed that of the 360’s bought that got rrod are played for well over the 2 hours a day tehy suggest.

can u still do this method if you previously did the towel trick twice? also after u do this penny trick and when you have to do the towel trick what time do you recommend 20 minutes then 20 minutes to cool off? thanks for any help.
