   get a new controller… i had the same problem… believe me mine was much worse… not only did it go round in circles, it also started firing bullets ingame….. and that was when i was playing mgs…

   i did a get a new controller now my gran turismo 4 doesnt want to work -.- when i go in a race u no the spinin gtime thing yea that thing it spins as normal white. then it turns to red and keep spining and never finish spinning

   I have the same problem with on of my PS2 controllers. But get this: my old PS controller still works.

   my ps2 works well the red light goes on but in the game it says there is no controler ????

    in killer7 my character wouldnt stop reloading which made the game pretty much unplayable so this vid definently helped

    My Ps2 controller . R1 button it’s stuck . When play game example like shooting games , when I play it’s shoot not stop .

    @3111993evo I think that means that the system is not picking up on the stick even though the red light is on. I guess if the stick isn’t working then the system assumes that there are no functional controllers plugged in. It’s the same w/ mine – red light’s on but the stick doesn’t work and sometimes the system says there’s no controller plugged in.

    I dont know what is wrong with this device
    i haven’t played my ps2 in 2 weeks because of the exam when i played my ps2
    the controller won’t work even the other one

    if i play a game i slowely go to the left because the R3 is pointing to the left a little bit and when i pull it with all my strenght to the right and let it go, nothing changed.

    yeah all cool and easy to open and clean the controller, but the hardest part is imo to put it together again. the R2+L2 Buttons block…..

    okay, the trick is: but front+back together first, then plugin the R+L Buttons afterwards. It works.

    at the end of the cord of the contrller where you connect it to the ps2 my controller is missing one of the small metal wires

    check on the end of the cord of the controller and inside the box of the cord youll see some golden stick wires see if all of them are there
