hey so when you are actually doing the back handspring, do you straighten out your legs or what?? because when i do the back handspring, i either look real funny because my legs are to..uhm i dont know, like..not straight er whatever…or i just cant do it all without turning back….

Also, its hard to say what your problem. It could sound like your jumping up instead of back. Practice Devins wall exercise in the video and sitting exercises. That helps a lot!

Wow, everyone from Strength Project is so lean! You should do videos on how to get as ripped as you!
Great instruction. Brought back great memories growing up in gymnastics. But I wish I had you teaching me as a kid.
that white dude had a nice ass…sorry couldn’t help myself.
Amazing guide, especially how you made different comments during the repetitions. Each of the pointers really helped out!
@LiLMisSBubbLEz1 First and for most, you want to get keeping your legs together down. Then once you make sure you don’t end up straddling them or any of that, work on straightening them as your going backwards into the BHS. For the most part, the straightening comes natural after you learn to keep them together
@deolm haha I retain too much water and don’t actually eat right or work out XD I just flip atleast 2 times a week and some bboying now and again. Even the basic six step in bboying will get you really cut and ripped. So yea, just have fun with an activity and limit your intake and you’ll get cut. Or atleast for me. I eat a lot of home cooked meals
@lero01 haha I wanted extra weight. Plus I was lazy and forgot my shorts that day XD
Nice tutorial Devin
