Every time she threw in a new ingredient i thought, ‘that’s gotta be the last thing’. You have every animal in that pancake for crying out loud. I’m hiring this woman.

Cheese is not an original ingredient for any Asian cuisine. It is strictly a food that comes from European origin. It would be later introduced into Asian culture after being exposed to Westernization, especially during American occupation (WWII, Korean War).

One of my dear friends was born and lived in Pyongyang when Korea was still one country. When it fell to Communism during the Korean War, she and her family fled to the South. She said at that time (she was around 17) the American soldiers / Red Cross fed the refugees with both Korean cuisine and American cuisine and she and many others were first introduced to cheese. They had no idea what it was! She never liked it and excluded it from her diet ever since.

Another example: Mexican cuisine is originally Aztec/Mayan cuisine – burritos, tamales, tacos, etc. The process of making the food is very similar to how my ancestors prepared them prior to the Conquistadors’ arrival. The Spanish introduced cheese and other dairy products to the food. I have to admit, it’s a delicious combo! ^^*
awww!!! i feel sooo bad for tht little poodle!!!:(
