Fixed my screen the first time right!
Great help video! I went back and forth between the ifixit site and this video while working on my phone. Unfortunatly, I didn’t get the double sided tape (stickers) with my kit. but the package my kit came in had clearly been torn apart and “searched” by customs, so the stickers could have gone missing that way.

I attached the new screen and it turns on and everything, but when I try to slide to unlock my phone, it wont do anything. wtf happened? Why is it like this? D:
i have a crack on my screen and its has some black spots near the crack on the screen that i can kinda see through sometimes depending on the lighting, will this work for it???
My question is I cracked my ipod touch screen AND the digitizer, yes i know this is an iphone, however it still works, i can touch where the screen is cracked.

Did you see at the end how voicemail dialled for no apparent reason?! My fuckphone does that all the time! I firmly believe that Apple have colluded with the phone companies to make more money by making it dial voicemail sporadically. Voicemail calls are not included in any cap plan and are charged at the maximum call rate.Eg on my unlimited calls Optus plan in aus i pay $100p/m but my bill is always $104+ from fkn voicemail dialling for no reason.It’s a fkn conspiracy i shit you not

swipe the screwdriver with a magnet and it’ll magnetize. Also that’s a fantastic way to void the warranty.. unless it expired.
